Original Olde Shop Fronts

After St. Dominic’s Wishing Well you are now looking straight at the Olde Shop Fronts, dating back to 1885. These shop fronts were not always here; one of them was originally in the old town of Cashel, the other originally in Thurles, but permission was granted to take the old shop fronts, when the buildings themselves were being gutted and rebuilt, and put them on permanent display in their new home. One of them was originally an old pub, and the other a general merchant’s store.

The Original Olde Shop Fronts on display at Cashel Folk Village date back to 1885. For more information, please contact us.
